Two-wheeling your way through San Antonio gives you the opportunity to see the sights up close at your own pace. Click the image to access the San Antonio Downtown Bike Rides maps. Try out the five routes, ranging from a quick spin to those that will require more pedal power.
Bicyclists observe the same traffic regulations as motor vehicles, and we ask that you take all safety precautions, such as signaling turns, wearing a helmet, and braking for pedestrians. Be sure to take water with you, wear sunscreen and lock your bike when parking. Should you and your bike need a lift, hop onto a VIA bus with a bike rack.
San Antonio B-cycle
Bike sharing makes it economical and convenient to use bikes for trips that are too far to walk but too short to drive. San Antonio B-cycle is one of the first large-scale municipal bike sharing systems in the United States. With approximately 30 special bike stations (B-stations) in downtown San Antonio in highly visible and trafficked areas, you can use a B-cycle to run an errand, grab lunch, travel from the bus stop to your office, or just get some fresh air. There are as many reasons to use a B-cycle! Click on the image to view a demo of how it works!
